Hello improv friends!
Hi there improvisers! Welcome to another online improv newsletter. We're really moving into the holiday season now, I guess. How do you feel about them?
I'll be honest: not a fan. But also, its the time of year I need classes and community. It's the time of year I really value a good online improv jam and hang. Distractions maybe? (And on that note, check out the Improv Geekery link in this newsletter below! Cool program recently submitted to the site!)
So send them in to this newsletter, let me know, let me help you get the word out about your jams and stuff if you're running any. I broken record those links below, but here's another one anyway. Questions and stuff, reply to this email!
New Podcast Ep
First "real" episode of the Neurodivergent podcast is up which says what this thing is about and provides some definitions and more concrete examples of what I'm going on about. Challenges. Strengths. Gotchas. Workarounds. Do you like to analyze the brain as much as I do? You might like this pod regardless of whether you're ND or not. If you hate it, listen to it anyway so you can rant at me. Here it is.
Last time I counted my line number for topics to prattle on about was sitting at 53. Also I'm hereby getting it out there I'll continue and make a lot of eps and not "Dining Room Chairsing" this pod out of fear and shame. Yes I'm verbing it.
IYKYK.
Image ID: What is neurodivergence? And improv... really? And WHY, Jen, why? This episode details what neurodivergence is, and why it’s relevant to improv. I include a couple of examples in there.
