Online Improv School or Coach Description
Improv Hub was founded by Lindsay Drummond Australian improviser, teacher, musician, and coach.
Improv Hub was the first improv school in Australia to transition to online learning and is still Australia's only online dedicated school. Although Lindsay will teach IRL (in real life) improv at festivals or for special occasions. Her greatest love is online improv.
Rather than seeing the limitations of the 2 dimensional space Lindsay thinks online improv holds a lot of possibilities for expanding the improv craft as well as opening up opportunities for more people to have access to improv. Online improv is not inferior to IRL improv, it's just another beast! If IRL improv is theatre then online is film. According to Lindsay, some types of scenes, games and formats work even better online than IRL!
Improv Hub mostly caters for an Australasian timezone but for those who want to step out and try an Aussie perspective will find they are most welcome. So those night owls in Pacific Time or morning improvisers in the UK or Europe are most welcome to try something down under if they are awake! LOL
