Coach Description
Jen is an improviser in Canada who started out studying improv at schools including World's Greatest Improv School (aka WGIS aka weegis aka Improv Grad School), Queen City Comedy, Second City, and more. Jen now helps admin the online classes and teams at WGIS.
Jen teaches improv classes and hosts jams at both WGIS and Queen City Comedy. She also performs on online teams with both schools, and does additional shows on the WGIS Twitch channel.
In the before-times, Jen enjoyed teaching dance fitness and performing in semi-rural vaudeville/burlesque themed shows both of which took place on stages made of wood. Jen loves physicality in improv, even when it's performed online!
She has an online improv website called FlatImprov.com (this site!) and likes making videos and podcast episodes five people listen to. Jen is still working on perfecting her Canadian accent.
Jen has taught a number of classes about creating and sustaining characters, and adding specifics to scenes. She loves coaching forms that are character-forward.
